PURPOSE: A storing device using a soft lock mode, a lock mode managing method thereof, and a memory system including the same are provided to easily perform data backup by including a lock mode managing module. CONSTITUTION: An NVM(Non-Volatile Memory)(200) includes reserved blocks. A lock mode management module(101) enters a soft lock mode if the number of reserved blocks is less than a reference value. The NVM is a flash memory. The flash memory includes a user area having data blocks for storing user data and a reserved area. The lock mode management module is implemented through a firmware.
