The device (1) has traction units (5) for drawing a movable floor (4), where each traction unit includes a cable (7) and a driving system (6) i.e. low voltage motor, that drives the cable along one direction or a reverse direction. The cable has ends (9, 10) that are connected to the movable floor and a swimming pool, respectively. The driving system is fixed to the swimming pool or to the movable floor. The traction units are arranged such that lengths of the cables between the driving systems and between the movable floor and the swimming pool are equal.
