PURPOSE: A core of a coil product and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to replace an area occupied by a core cover with an insulating film, thereby reducing the overall volume of the core. CONSTITUTION: A body(2) is formed by compressing and sintering powder which is mainly made of oxidized steel. A separation protrusion(3) is respectively formed by being protruded from two points which are symmetric with respect to the upper surface of the body. An angle(A) of the upper surface(2a) of the body and both side surfaces(3a) of the separation protrusion is 95 to 120 degrees. An insulating film is formed on the outer surface of a main body(1). A first coil(5) and a second coil(7) are wound on the surface of the insulating film.
