The liner (1) has an outer upper part (2) partially surrounding foot of a user, where the outer upper part is made of semi-rigid flexible material. A flexible internal padding is provided below the outer upper part. The outer upper part is provided with a set of traverse openings (6) corresponding to anterior part of the foot. The padding comprises an elastically deformable portion that is arranged in the traverse openings, where the openings are arranged in a dissymmetrical manner. A base line is provided with a longitudinal extension of a side profile of the liner.
