PURPOSE: A duplicated data processing system and a method thereof are provided to prevent duplication display of a POI by distinguishing POI data based on a coordinate system. CONSTITUTION: A POI data collector(111) collects POI(Point Of Interest) data from data according to a coordinate item within a search service. A range setting unit(112) sets up a geographic area for duplication determination of the POI data. A data determining unit(113) searches for the POI data in database.
