FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is realised due to that N (where NëÑ1) coordinate determining units (CDU) generate current coordinates of N radar information reception points (RIRP) and transmit said coordinates over N additional communication channels to a central control unit (CCU). The CCU uses a given algorithm to determine optimum coordinates of N positions of the RIRP. The CCU then compares with current coordinates of N positions of the RIRP, determines the possibility of changing positions, draws up a displacement plan and transmits control signals to Q (where 0ëñQëñN) peripheral control units (PCU) over Q additional communication channels. Further, Q RIRP change their position in accordance with the received control signals. The disclosed apparatus consists of a central observation station which consists of an information processing centre and CCU, N mobile observation stations, each consisting of a PCU, CDU and a radar station, N additional communication channels for transmitting radar information, N additional communication channels for transmitting control signals, N additional communication channels for transmitting coordinates. ^ EFFECT: high probability of correct detection and identification of targets and high accuracy of determining coordinates thereof. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
