<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit for a display device that has normal voltage amplitude of an output signal and that can be manufactured with fewer steps by forming a circuit with only TFTs of one conductivity type. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitor 205 is provided between a gate and a source of a TFT 203 connected to an output node, and a circuit including a TFT 201 and a TFT 202 has a function of setting a node α into a floating state. While the node α is in the floating state, the potential of the node α is set higher than VDD by utilizing the capacitance coupling between the gate and the source of the TFT 203 by the capacitor 205. This can provide an output signal with normal amplitude between VDD and GND without attenuation in amplitude that would be caused due to the threshold value of the TFT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
