<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high operability and high reliability without damaging or breaking a fitting guide part in a longitudinal direction of a first housing of a first connector during a fitting operation. <P>SOLUTION: A connector is provided with a first connector comprising a first terminal, and a first housing having a first fitting guide part; a second terminal; and a second housing having a second fitting guide part. The first fitting guide part includes a recess, in which the second fitting guide part is inserted, and an end wall whose inside face defines an outside part of the recess in a longitudinal direction of the first housing. A first reinforcing metal fitting is mounted to the first fitting guide part. The first reinforcing metal fitting includes a center part covering a fitting side face of the end wall, a main body part connected to the center part and including a tongue part covering an inside face of the end wall, and a substrate connection part connected to the main body part and fixed to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
