<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a joint part of a wooden building that can ensure sufficient ductility for a joint part against a large-scale deformation as well as increase the initial rigidity and maximum yield strength of the joint part against a small-scale deformation when reinforcing the joint part of the wooden building. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcing structure of a joint part of a wooden building comprises a first reinforcing metallic material 53 and a second reinforcing metallic material 1. The first reinforcing metallic material comprises: first attachments 54 that are respectively attached to vertically-oriented and horizontally-oriented wooden structural materials 50, 51; and a flat face part 55 which is located at a joint part 52, joining vertically-oriented and horizontally-oriented wooden structural materials, between the first attachments and resists a small-scale deformation of the joint part. The second reinforcing metallic material comprises: second attachments 6 that are respectively attached to the vertically-oriented and horizontally-oriented wooden structural materials; and a bent plate part 4 which is located at the joint part, joining the vertically-oriented and horizontally-oriented wooden structural materials, between the second attachments and absorbs a deformation energy by expanding, shrinking, or deforming as the deformation of the joint part increases.
