METHOD FOR REALIZING VIRTUAL SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an arbitrary part of a communication device perform a desired operation without impacting on user's communication and confirm the impact due to the operation.

SOLUTION: A communication device 1 comprises: a part K1 having a virtual block; an input section K2 that inputs a signal; and an output section K3 that outputs a signal. The part K1 comprises: a distribution section K11; a virtual block K12; and a real block K13. The virtual block K12 is physically different from the real block K13. The distribution section K11 distributes a signal S12 for a virtual system that virtually generates a change and a signal S13 for a real system that conveys user's communication to the virtual block K12 and the real block K13, respectively. The signal S12 for a virtual system with field information (such as a flag or the like) indicating a virtual signal is transmitted from a device 2A to a device 2B via: an optical fiber FA; the input section K2; the distribution section K11; the virtual block K12; the output section K3; and an optical fiber FB.
