<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool capable of boring to a correct boring depth. <P>SOLUTION: This boring tool 1 includes a mounting portion 15 to which a boring bit 2 is attached, a housing which holds the mounting portion 15, a motor 21 which is held by the housing and rotatingly drives the mounting portion 15, a distance measurement sensor 14 installed in the housing, a calculation section which is connected to the distance measurement sensor 14 and measures the distance to an object by the distance measurement sensor 14 so as to derive a depth bored by the boring bit 2, a boring depth setting section for setting a boring depth, and a stopping section for stopping the rotation of the boring bit 2 when the results of the boring depth derived by the calculation section reach the set values set by the boring depth setting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
