<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the distal end part of an endoscope, which is improved in cooling efficiency by increasing a contact area with fluid in order to cool heat generated in the distal end part and prevents the distal end part from having a large diameter by using the distal end part body as a part of a flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: The distal end part body 14 arranged on the distal end of an insertion part 4 of the endoscope 1 is formed of a porous body having fine communicating pores inside, and a refrigerant supply port 28 to supply a refrigerant to the distal end part body 14 and a refrigerant recovery port 29 to recover the refrigerant are attached to the distal end part body 14. Heat generating parts such as a light emission element 33 attached to the distal end part body 14 are cooled by the flow of the refrigerant supplied from the refrigerant supply port 28 to the distal end part body 14 and recovered from the refrigerant recovery port 29 through the inside of the distal end part body 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
