摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the distal end part of an endoscope, which is improved in cooling efficiency by increasing a contact area with fluid in order to cool heat generated in the distal end part and prevents the distal end part from having a large diameter by using the distal end part body as a part of a flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: The distal end part body 14 arranged on the distal end of an insertion part 4 of the endoscope 1 is formed of a porous body having fine communicating pores inside, and a refrigerant supply port 28 to supply a refrigerant to the distal end part body 14 and a refrigerant recovery port 29 to recover the refrigerant are attached to the distal end part body 14.
