<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sorting apparatus, image sorting method and program in which a much more advanced sorting structure is implemented. <P>SOLUTION: An image sorting apparatus (1) includes: input means (15, 18) which inputs a plurality of images with persons photographed therein; face recognition means (5) which recognizes faces of persons photographed in the input images; person identification means (5) which identifies the persons on the basis of the faces recognized by the face recognition means; correlation value setting means (5) which sets a correlation value representing a degree of familiarity, between persons photographed in the input images, that is improved as a frequency for the persons to be photographed together in one image increases; and a display unit (17) which displays a sorting result based on the correlation value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
