摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy in calculation of torque related to torque-based control with a simple configuration and to implement torque behavior of an engine in response to demand torque with high accuracy, with an engine controlling apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This engine controlling apparatus comprises, a first calculation unit 2a that calculates acceleration demand torque based on an engine speed and an acceleration operation amount; second calculation units 2e, 2f, 2g that calculate external demand torque demanded from external controlling systems 8, 9; a third calculation unit 2k that calculates first target torque for injection timing control and second target torque for intake air quantity control based on the acceleration demand torque and the external demand torque; and a fourth calculation unit 4c that calculates maximum torque capable of being generated by the engine 10 at actual charging efficiency as actual torque.
