<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body that suppresses increase in cost and weight and further improves strength of a roof part of a vehicle, especially strength of a connecting part between a side roof rail and a beam member. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle body structure 1, a side roof rail lean hose 43 is connected to an end 35a of a center roof bow upper 35 to form a connecting part P2. A side roof rail inner 41 has a recess 90 which avoids the connecting part P2 and is recessed outward in a vehicle width direction, and a flange 41c at an upper edge of a vertical wall part 45 of the recess 90 is connected to the side roof rail lean hose 43 near the connecting part P2. A tilt angle β relative to a vehicle body vertical direction C of the vertical wall part 45 is set smaller than a tilt angle of a wall part other than the recess 90 of the side roof rail inner 41, and a first rib 110 extending in a direction across a direction where the side roof rail inner 41 extends is formed in the vertical wall part 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
