<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a thin image display unit supported by a stand unit that requires only a small amount of force to adjust the direction of a screen of the image display unit. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device according to the present invention includes a stand unit 3 having a base part 31, a leg 32 that rises from the base part, a trunk 33 connected to an upper end of the leg, and a holding part 34 that extends further upward from the trunk.
