<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sheet glass capable of suppressing reduction in the cleanliness of the glass surface even when transported to a delivery destination company or stored over a long period of time, a method for manufacturing sheet glass, and the laminate of sheet glass. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing sheet glass includes: a step of preparing sheet glass by cutting thin sheet-like glass; a step of cleaning the surfaces of the sheet glass; a step of forming a water-soluble protective film with surface irregularity on the cleaned sheet glass; and a step of layering the sheet glass on which the water-soluble protective film has been formed on the laminate of sheet glass. The sheet glass has a water-soluble protective film with surface irregularity formed on a surface thereof.
