DRIVING APPARATUS AND DISPLAY DIVICE INCLUDING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A driving apparatus and a display apparatus including the same are provided to display an image using a plurality of driving chips in the same operation mode by transferring a final operation mode to the driving chip which is operated in a slave mode. CONSTITUTION: First and second signal terminals are used as an interface of control data. The first and second signal terminals are used as an interface of a mode detection signal. The control data controls an image display process for a first period. The mode detection signal corresponds to an operation mode of the image display process for a second period. A signal controller transmits/receives the control data for the first period. The signal controller transmits/receives the mode detection signal through the first and second signal terminals. A liquid crystal capacitor forms two terminals of a common electrode(270) of an upper display panel(200) and a pixel electrode(190) of a lower display panel(100). A liquid crystal layer(3) is performed as a dielectric material. The pixel electrode is connected to a switching device.
