Radiators are produced from sheet metal with welded on collecting tubes. The radiator pieces are cut out in a semi circle on the places where they connect up with the collecting tubes in such a way that the rims are bent outwards at right angles and that two sleeves are formed on the collecting tubes on the spaces corresponding to the area of contact with the pieces and which have a perfect and tight fit with the radiator pieces on assembly. The connection pieces are welded together on the area of contact between the two radiator pieces with the connecting tubes. |
