<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure high performance by enlarging an entrance length of a suction opening connected to an air conditioning unit under a sealed condition without making the air conditioning unit and an air blowing fan larger to heighten an air volume and a static pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A washing process, a rinsing process, and a dewatering process are carried out by providing a rotary drum 2 in a water tank 3 horizontally or in a downwardly slanting manner toward the rear, and a drying process is carried out by introducing air into the water tank 3 after the air in the water tank 3 is sucked with an air conditioning/blowing unit 81 disposed at the rear part of the water tank 3 to be made to dry hot air. A suction opening 15d1 of a spiral casing 15d is connected to an air conditioning case 38 under a sealed condition by the outer periphery protruding to the air conditioning case 38 side through a seal member 104 so that the inner periphery becomes a bell mouth part 15c2 open to a suction exhaust opening 392 side to which the suction from an air blowing fan 15 of the air conditioning case 38 is extended.
