<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window open method and apparatus in which a window of a file can be displayed on a monitor desired for display through one action when using a multi-monitor. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a window open apparatus for displaying a window of a file on a screen of at least one of a plurality of monitors in a computer having the plurality of monitors and a mouse which can perform cursor operation on screens of the plurality of monitors. In response to operation using the mouse, processing is performed to virtually capture and drag a file on a screen of one of the plurality of monitors with the cursor (S10) and to drop the file on any arbitrary screen among the plurality of monitors (S15) and when processing to drop the file on the arbitrary screen is performed, the window of the file is opened on the arbitrary screen (S30, S50). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
