<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent sheet having high strength and appropriate translucency in spite of having a fiber structure. <P>SOLUTION: A translucent sheet comprising a wet-heat adhesive fiber and being composed of a nonwoven fiber structure in which a fiber is fixed by fusion of this wet-heat adhesive fiber is made so that the translucent sheet has a laminated structure of a low-density layer having an apparent density of 10 to 200 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>with a high-density layer being laminated to at least one surface of the low-density layer and having an apparent density greater than the low-density layer. The apparent density of the high-density layer may be 100 to 1000 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and the density ratio of the both layers may be: low-density layer/high-density layer=about 1/1.1 to 1/5. The thickness ratio of the low-density layer to the high-density layer may be: low-density layer/high-density layer=2/1 to 20/1.
