<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement pump capable of reducing a power loss by approximating a pump discharge pressure to a required hydraulic pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The variable displacement pump includes a pump structure discharging lubricating oil which is introduced from a suction port 7 to a plurality of pump chambers 13 from a discharge port 8 to an inside of an engine and a variable valve system by receiving a volume change in the pump chambers, and changes the volumes of the pump chambers by oscillating a cam ring 5 by a discharge pressure supplied into a control oil chamber 16. A first coil spring 20 forcing the cam ring so as to increase the volumes of the pump chambers and a second coil spring 22 forcing the cam ring so as to decrease the volumes of the pump chambers are provided in an opposing manner across an arm 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
