<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for providing suitable route information to a vehicle driver. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing system 1 for providing route information from a present position of a vehicle up to a destination includes: a required time prediction means 3b for predicting time required for the traveling of a traveling route on which the traveling frequency of the own vehicle is high; and a storage means 3a for storing actual traveling time required when the own vehicle traveled in the past on the traveling route having high frequency of traveling. The information processing system 1 provides route information based on the required time predicted by the required time prediction means 3b and the actual traveling time stored in the storage means 3b (for instance, the predicted required time of the traveling route having high traveling frequency is compared with actual traveling time (time threshold) longer than usual traveling time derived from the stored actual traveling time of the traveling route having high traveling frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
