<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a broadcast receiver in which a tuner other than a channel being viewed is required to display data broadcast of a channel other than a channel being viewed. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver 100 comprises: a front end part 103 which receives a broadcast signal of a channel designated to be tuned in to; a transport part 104 which separates a video signal and a broadcast signal from the received broadcast signal; an MPEG decoding part 105 which superimposes the data broadcast signal onto the video signal: a memory 107 which stores the data broadcast signal: and a control part 106 which when the broadcast receiver is in a stand-by state, controls the data broadcast signal of the first channel to be stored in the memory 107, and when the video signal of the second channel is viewed, controls the data broadcast signal of the first channel stored in the memory 107 to be superimposed onto the video signal of the second channel, according to a user's designation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
