<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone 1 capable of suppressing waste of electric power. <P>SOLUTION: The portable phone 1 comprises: a first light emission unit 23 for performing notification by emitting light; a second light emission unit installed in a position different from the first light emission unit 23; a control unit 100 for controlling the first light emission unit 23 and the second light emission unit; and a detection unit for detecting that the first light emission unit 23 is hidden.
