RECORDING MEDIUM SUPPLY DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROCESSING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium supply device which has improved operability of setting or replenishing a recording medium.

SOLUTION: The recording medium supply device includes: a first housing means (inner housing part T1) to load and house the recording medium; a second housing means (outer housing part T2) to freely movably house the first housing means; a housing casing (unit casing 46) to hold the second housing means so that the second housing means may freely advance and retreat; a moving means (moving mechanism 200) to move the first housing means housed in the second housing means in the advancing and retreating direction of the second housing means; a detection means S3 to detect the size of the recording medium; a comparison means (comparison part 350) to compare the detection result with a preset threshold; and a control means (control part 300) to control the moving means to operate in accordance with the comparison result.
