<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a non-pneumatic tire for light vehicles which is never broken even in a severe usage environment over a long period by firmly joining joint surfaces when cutting and forming an extruded material in an annular shape, and re-molding the shape of a joint portion generated at that time to exhibit a predetermined tire performance, and to provide a non-pneumatic tire which allows material recycling of a tire body. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of (1) molding an elastomer composition into a predetermined shape; (2) cutting it to a specified length; (3) heating cut end surfaces; (4) mutually joining and holding the heated end surfaces; and (5) remolding a joint part thereof. The composition of the non-pneumatic tire preferably includes, to 100 pts.wt. of a maleic acid modified olefin-based elastomer, 0.1-3 pts.wt. of a nitrogenous heterocyclic compound, 50-150 pts.wt. of an olefin resin, 20-80 pts.wt. of a styrene elastomer, and 50-150 pts.wt. of paraffin oil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
