Provided is a transmitter apparatus that can lower the PAPR during a multichannel transmission. A transmitter apparatus, which constitutes a communication system together with a receiver apparatus and which multiplexes data from M channels for transmission to the receiver apparatus (where M is a natural number equal to or greater than two), comprises: timing offset units (107-1 to 107-M) that receive data from respective different channels and insert designated timing offset values into the received data; a multiplexing unit (108) that multiplexes the M pieces of timing-offset data to output a multiplexed signal; and a timing offset calculating unit (109) that calculates different timing offset values for the respective ones of the timing offset units (107-1 to 107-M) and outputs the timing offset values calculated for the respective timing offset units (107-1 to 107-M).
