<p>A vehicle seat capable of sliding back and forth is provided with: a lower rail (5) fixed to the floor of a vehicle, and having a groove (55) extending back and forth in the horizontal center thereof; an upper rail (4) capable of sliding back and forth in relation to the lower rail (5) by being engaged with the groove (55); and a seating portion frame (3) fixed to the upper rail (4). The seating portion frame (3) is fixed to either the left or right side surface of the upper rail (4). On the lower rail (5), a pair of left and right upper surface portions (53A, 53B) sandwich the groove (55), and the inner upper surface portion (53A), to which the seating portion frame (3) is fixed, is formed in a lower position than the outer upper surface portion (53B) on the opposite side of the inner upper surface portion (53A). A lower edge portion (62C) of a rear link (62), which is the edge portion facing the inner upper surface portion (53A) of the seating portion frame (3), is disposed in a lower position than the outer upper surface portion (53B).</p> |
