<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice-making machine capable of reliably removing ice depositing on an upper face of a water pan while suppressing an amount of water used for melting the ice. <P>SOLUTION: The ice-making machine includes a guide plate, the posture of which can be displaced in such a manner that the guide plate covers from above an injection port on an upper face of a water pan when the water pan is inclined downward to be in an open position for opening ice-making chambers during a deicing operation, and that the guide plate retracts from the upper face of the water pan when the water pan is in a closing position for closing from below the ice-making chambers during an ice-making operation. During the deicing operation, a supply pump is driven to inject ice-making water remaining in the ice-making tank toward the guide plate in a covered posture from the injection port. Thereby, the injected ice-making water is reflected by the guide plate to be uniformly distributed on the upper face of the water pan and can melt ice depositing on the upper face of the water pan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
