<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive signal generator capable of attenuating resonant oscillation of an optical scan element even when a center frequency of a notch filter is changed according to a temperature change of the optical scan element, and an optical scanner and an image display device equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A drive signal generator generates, as a signal for compulsorily driving a reflection mirror of the optical scan element in a non-resonance mode, a drive signal obtained by applying to a saw tooth wave signal low-pass filter processing and notch filter processing for attenuating a resonance frequency unique to an optical scan element. The drive signal generator comprises: storage means that stores, in advance, data on a plurality of primary processing signals obtained by applying low-pass filter processing with different cut-off frequency to the saw tooth wave signal; and primary processing signal selection means that selects one primary processing signal from the plurality of primary processing signals stored in the storage means, based on the center frequency of the notch filter in the notch filter processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
