<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing water leakage due to dew condensation of a suction pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 includes a body 2 where storage chambers 4 and 5 are formed of a heat insulation box 3 filled with a heat insulating material, a machine room 6 disposed under the heat insulation box 3, a recessed part 12 disposed on the bottom wall 11 of the machine room 6 so as to occlude the surface of the bottom, a compressor 31 disposed in the machine room 6 so as to operate a refrigerating cycle by circulating a refrigerant, a cooler 35 disposed at the low-temperature part of the refrigerating cycle for cooling the storage chambers 4 and 5, and a suction pipe 36a that comes out from the refrigerant outflow side of the cooler 35, passes through the inside of the heat insulating material, extends to the inside of the machine room 6, and connects to the refrigerant inflow side of the compressor 31. In the refrigerator 1, the suction pipe 36a has a U-shaped section 36b formed in a convex U shape in the machine room 6 and a guide member 15 is formed with its one end connected to the lower end of the U-shaped section 36a and is extended in the recessed part 12 to guide the dew condensation water of the suction pipe 36a to the recessed part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
