The present invention relates to an apparatus and a corresponding method for playing and/or generating audio content for an audience, comprising a sensor input that receives sensor data from one or more sensors monitoring the audience, a situation recognition unit that analyzes said sensor data to identify characteristic movement patterns of one or more members of the audience, a control unit that selects music and/or generates verbal communication based on the identified characteristic movement patterns, and an audio output that outputs said selected music and/or said verbal communication.
