A battery module (10) has a first battery (12) and a second battery (14), which are different types of batteries. A disconnecting unit (16) electrically connects the first battery (12), the second battery (14) and the electricity switch (18) of the vehicle, so as to be controlled by the electricity switch (18). Thus the first battery (12) and the second battery (14) are electrically connected or only one of them supplies power to a starter motor (30). The battery module (10) keeps one of the first battery (12) and the second battery (14) in the full power state, thus avoiding the insufficient power supply of starting the vehicle. |
