The arrangement has a condenser (13) arranged in a waste heat utilization circuit (9) downstream to an expansion machine (12) for condensing a working medium. A vaporizer (11) is arranged downstream to an exhaust-gas treatment device (6) e.g. particle filter, and coupled with an exhaust line (5). The waste heat utilization circuit is moved between the vaporizer and the expansion machine in a circular segment (17) along a pipeline section (18) of the exhaust line, where the pipeline section lies upstream of a heat coupling unit arranged between the vaporizer and the exhaust line.
