<p>[Problem] To provide an ultrasound diagnostic device of which the ultrasonic probes, attachable and detachable during use, transmit received signals to a diagnostic device main unit through optical signals and electric signals. [Solution] One end of a communication cable (3) is connected with the diagnostic device main unit (2) via a main-unit-side connector (4) in such a way that allows attachment and detachment. An electric-optic conversion solution (8) converts received signals into optical signals, subsequent to the processing of the received signals by a plurality of A/D converters (7) each paired with a transducer array in an ultrasonic probe (1). An optical fiber (9) provided in the communication cable (3) transmits received signals, subsequent to conversion of the received signals into optical signals by the electric-optic conversion solution (8). An optic-electric conversion solution (11) built into the main-unit-side connector (4) converts received signals transmitted by the optical fiber (9), from optical signals into electrical signals.</p> |
