PURPOSE: A friction plate for sliding of industry machine device and a method of producing same are provided to reduce weight of the friction plate member by forming a copper ally on the surface and a supporter of steel. CONSTITUTION: A friction plate(1) for sliding of industry machine device includes a surface layer(10), a supporter(20), and a graphite rods(40). The friction surface(11) is formed in one side of the surface part. The surface part is made of copper alloy. The supporter supports the bottom surface of the surface part. The support stand is made of steel. The surface part and the supporter are welded by a junction method. A plurality of holes(30) is formed to the bottom side of the supporter or a part of the friction surface and the supporter. Graphite rods are inserted in each hole.
