<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reflective display and transmission display without discriminating the respective pixels of a liquid crystal display panel into a reflective display part and a transmission display part, and to obtain high display fidelity. <P>SOLUTION: A dielectric layer 50 is configured such that transparent first dielectric film and second dielectric film having mutually different refractivity are alternately laminated between a liquid crystal display panel 1<SB POS="POST">(VA)</SB>and a backlight 30, and that the rays of light made incident from a direction crossing the film surface of each dielectric film are reflected and transmitted by prescribed reflectivity and transmissivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
