<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a connector. <P>SOLUTION: A connector housing 20 includes: a cavity 30 into which a terminal fitting 90 is inserted; a front wall 40 to which the terminal fitting 90 inserted in the cavity 30 is fitted in front; and a deflectable lance 33 which protrudes in a cantilevered manner from the inner face of the cavity 30. Further, a connector comprises a protrusion 50 protruding from the side on which the front wall 40 is located toward the side on which the lance 33 is located.
