WORKING MACHINE FOR TORPEDO CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine for a torpedo car having such a configuration that a pitch of a locking position of a turning arm can be finely set to facilitate positional adjustment of a working tool in a molten iron transfer container, and the turning arm can be locked easily.

SOLUTION: A telescopic turning arm is fitted to the tip of a base end arm via a horizontally turnable device. A lock gear 62 having an external tooth gear structure is provided coaxially to a turning ring of the horizontally turnable device. A lock link 65 is fitted to a lower arm 12a of the base arm rotatably by a locking hydraulic cylinder 70. A bracket 67 is fitted to the lock link 65 in correspondence to the outer circumference of the lock gear 62. A plurality of lock pins 68 are fitted to the bracket 67 along a portion facing the gear. The lock pins 68 are meshed with or released from the teeth 62a at the outer circumference of the lock gear 62 by the telescopic motion of the hydraulic cylinder 70.
