The invention relates to a vacuum brake force booster (10) for a motor vehicle brake system, comprising: - a force input member which is movable along a longitudinal axis (A) and which is or can be coupled to a brake pedal, - a control valve arrangement (20) which can be actuated by the force input member (12), - a chamber arrangement (22) which is arranged in a housing (18) and which has at least one working chamber (24, 26) and at least one vacuum chamber (32, 34) separated from one another by means of a movable wall (28, 30) and which has a force output member (16) for transmitting an actuating force, wherein the at least one working chamber (24, 26) can be connected selectively to a vacuum source or to the atmosphere, wherein the control valve arrangement (20) has a control valve housing (18) which is coupled to the at least one movable wall (28, 30) for conjoint movement therewith, wherein the control valve arrangement (20) has a force-transmitting arrangement which has a degree of axial play and which is arranged in the force transmission path between the force input member (12) and the force output member (16). Here, for noise reduction, it is provided that at least one component (54, 56, 58, 62, 64) of the force-transmitting arrangement is manufactured from magnetic or ferromagnetic material and is subjected to a permanently applied magnetic field. |
