A display device for information terminal comprises: a planar housing incorporating a CPU and the like; a screen provided on the surface of the housing; a terminal provided on one side bar of the housing; a terminal provided on the other side bar of the housing; a cover detachably attached to the housing along the one side bar of the housing and covering an end of the screen and the terminal; and a cover detachably attached to the housing along the other side bar of the housing and covering an end of the screen and the terminal. In the case where two housings are connected in use, the covers of the housings are removed or moved aside. A protrusion of one of the housings is fitted in a recess of the other housing. The housings are disposed such that the screens thereof are connected, whereby both of the screens function in an integrated manner. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a display device for information terminal capable of enlarging the screen without inhibiting the reduction in size and thickness of the housing.
