摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow discharge speeds and discharge volumes of ink droplet to be uniform irrespective of print patterns. <P>SOLUTION: A driving signal output part outputs to an actuator a driving signal containing an ejection pulse which generates a pressure oscillation by which the ink droplet is discharged from a nozzle in a pressure chamber corresponding to the nozzle. An ejection pulse number deciding part decides the number of ejection pulses based on the gradation value of printing data. A pulse addition determining part determines whether a control pulse for strengthening the pressure oscillation is to be added to the driving signal containing the ejection pulse. A driving signal formation part forms the driving signal containing the ejection pulse of the number decided by the ejection pulse number deciding part when a determination of not adding the control pulse is made by the pulse addition determining part. When a determination of not adding the control pulse is made, the driving signal formation part generates the driving signal containing the ejection pulses of the number reduced from the number decided by the ejection pulse number deciding part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
