INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system in which a degree of user's trust in security can be satisfied by preventing a third person from easily canceling an access restriction or output restriction.

SOLUTION: The information processing system has: an information processing apparatus which processes an image or the like; illuminators which are installed in a plurality of areas, respectively; and a user terminal disposed in any of the areas. Each illuminator radiates an illumination ID for individually identifying the area together with illumination light. The user terminal analyzes the illumination light radiated from the illuminator to identify the illumination ID and transmits the identified illumination ID to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus enables a job instruction to be received when the illumination ID transmitted from the user terminal is authenticated successfully. A service level indicating an output restriction of a job to be executed is preset to the illumination ID, and the information processing apparatus executes the job at a service level corresponding to the received illumination ID.
