RECOVERY METHOD OF VALUABLES FROM LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY AND RECOVERED MATERIAL HAVING VALUABLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method of valuables which can recover the valuables such as cobalt and nickel from a lithium ion secondary battery with high recovery rate as well as an easy process.

SOLUTION: A recovery method of valuables from a lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a roasting step to obtain a roasted material by roasting the lithium ion secondary battery at 400°C or higher; a crushing step to obtain a crushed material by hitting and crushing the roasted material; and a screening step to obtain a recovered material where the crushed material is sieved to over-sized material and under-sized material.
