<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an article to a specified position on a mounting base even in lateral transfer. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer system (100) can transfer the article (3) in a lateral transfer method between a carrier (2), which runs along a track (1) provided on the ceiling to carry the article, and a mounting base (4) provided below the track. The transfer system includes: a memory means (101) that memorizes (i) the placing position information which represents the transfer position of the article when the article held by the carrier is placed at the specified position on the mounting base and (ii) the holding position information that represents the transfer position of the article when the carrier performs a holding motion to hold the article on the mounting base; and a control means (102) that control the carrier so that the transfer can be carried out at the transfer position from the placing position information when the placing motion is carried out and on the other hand the transfer is carried out at the transfer position from the holding position information when the holding motion is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
