<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type temperature sensor allowed to be easily attached because the temperature sensor has excellent temperature detection accuracy, high heat response characteristics and excellent position accuracy between a heat sensitive element and a heating roller. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact type temperature sensor attached to a fixing device or the like includes the heat sensitive element, a pair of narrow metal plates electrically connected to the heat sensitive element, and an annular holding body for holding the pair of narrow metal plates.
