WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for expanding a communication area of a base station so that a mobile station can communicate with a proper base station according to a measurement result of the mobile station.

SOLUTION: A wireless communication system is comprised of a first base station, a second base station and a mobile station capable of connecting with either the first or the second base station. The wireless communication system has: means which the mobile station measures a reception level of a signal transmitted from the first base station according to predetermined conditions; means for transmitting the reception level to the second base station; and control means for expanding a communication area of the first base station according to the reception level so that the mobile station can communicate with the first base station.
