SLUDGE REMOVAL DEVICE IN PRODUCTION FACILITY OF RECYCLED PULP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge removal device capable of catching a sludge in a raw material slurry so as to prevent the blockage of a device due to the sludge to be removed especially in a rough sorting process of removing foreign substance from a raw material of a recycled paper prior to the production of a deinked pulp.

SOLUTION: A sludge removing bar 21 is disposed at a feeding tube 15 in which a raw material slurry passes through so that a longitudinal direction of the bar is positioned in a direction orthogonal to a flow direction. The bar 21 is made of a belt-shaped plate. The width direction of the belt-shaped plate is positioned in parallel to the flow direction. The front edge of the plate has a concave notched portion 21a with an appropriate gap. A plurality of the sludge removing bars 21 are fixed at their bottom edges to a pedestal plate 23 and at their upper edges to a lid plate 22. The sludge removing bars 21 are installed on an attachable tube 16 projecting from the feeding tube 15 so as to allow the free insertion and extraction and the attachable tube 16 is installed at the feeding tube 15 in a freely attachable and detachable way. In the installed state the sludge removing bar 21 is positioned inside the feeding tube 15.
